Sally Doulton

Sally Doulton is an award-winning educator who has 34 years of experience working as a special education and reading teacher at a secondary level. For the past 12 years, she has had the privilege to teach both the System 44 and READ 180 programs to her middle and high school students at Manhasset Secondary School in New York. For the past seven years, the Manhasset School District has honored her students' accomplishments at various Board of Education Student Recognition Ceremonies.

In 2011, she was an active participant in the development of System 44 NG. She also participated in Advisory Boards related to the development of READ 180 NG. Sally loves implementing the READ 180 Universal and System 44 NG programs with her students and looks forward to the progress she knows her students will make using these programs each year.

In 2013, Sally received an Educator of Excellence award for English by the New York State English Council for her work teaching uncommon learners the standards of the Common Core at Manhasset Middle School. Sally has also met the rigorous requirements to be inducted into the following honorable societies: Kappa Delta Pi, Psi Chi, and Theta Alpha Kappa.
