25+ years of improving literacy
Rooted in the science of reading, Read 180 develops fluency, expands vocabulary, and strengthens comprehension skills. Students receive evidence-based instruction proven to help striving readers gain up to two years of average growth in one year.
Northeast Florida
In 2024, a school showed a 68% FAST Tier 2/Tier 3 student growth plus 64% FAST growth in students with learning disabilities.
Southeast Florida
In Miami-Dade County Public Schools, 82% of students increased proficiency, with over half increasing at least one grade level.
Southwest Florida
On secondary grade level campuses, 70% of students made Lexile® gains and 42% doubled their growth.

Our curriculum is stratified into four distinct stages to cater to varying reading fluency levels:

Robust assessment and data-driven instruction
Read 180 includes a range of dynamic assessments:
- NWEA® MAP® Growth™: Eligibility, placement, and progress monitoring
- Oral Reading Fluency (ORF) assessments: Monitor decoding and oral fluency progress
- Formative assessments: Informal daily student progress monitoring
- Summative assessments: Tests, essays, and projects to measure mastery
