Core Curriculum
Jason Carter is the National Executive Director of the High School Equivalency Testing (HiSET™) Program for non-profit Educational Testing Service. He is currently working to make a meaningful difference in education for those needing a second chance to succeed by bringing a more affordable, more accessible high school equivalency test to market. The ETS HiSET™ test is the first alternative to the GED® test since 1942 and the fastest growing high school equivalency test.
While at ETS, Jason has worked in the New Product Development and Business Innovation and Growth Divisions. Jason has worked to identify, evaluate and recommend new external and internal business opportunities. During that time, he worked in various capacities to develop business cases for numerous concepts, including opportunities in the higher education space as well as in India. In addition, Jason has executed multiple agreements with ETS partners to help broaden ETS relationships.
Prior to joining ETS, Jason worked at MDM Equity Partners, a Philadelphia based private-equity firm and at JPMorgan Chase in their Internal Consulting Services rotational program.
Jason holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from Georgetown University. He also serves on the board of CASA of NJ, Princeton Family YMCA and the Penn Club of Central New Jersey.
