Jakeima (Jai) Lewis, MEd, has 21 years of experience in public education, including elementary and middle school. Jai is a sixth-grade teacher and instructional coach, both for HMH and other organizations, who provides professional development on topics including English language acquisition, literacy best practices, differentiated instruction, and classroom management. Jai earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington, along with a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from Lamar University.
