Ireen attended The Young Women’s Leadership School of Astoria in Queens, New York. Her teachers taught her the importance and impact of how an educational background can provide lifelong learning. She published a piece for the Girls Write Now anthology in 2013, titled “On the Right Track”. She pursued her higher education at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in TV- Video Production and a minor in Broadcast Management. Ireen continues to contribute into the writer’s world through blogging reviews of dining within New York State. She hopes to partake into the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt experience as much as possible and passionately cultivate in the educational and academic community.
