Carey is a Marketing Account Manager at HMH, where she spends her days overseeing digital marketing campaigns, supporting the creation of compelling content, and ensuring the success and happiness of the marketing team. She previously worked at a healthcare marketing company where she researched and wrote specialized blogs for physicians. She also has a freelance business where she assists small companies with creating engaging content and managing search engine optimization. Carey received her bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing at Berry College and her master’s degree in Writing and Digital Communications from Agnes Scott College. In her spare time, she loves playing with her seven animals, writing horror novels for children, and reading anything she can get her hands on. Carey is the author of the 2025 book Ghost Scout's Honor.
