Core Curriculum
Candi Di Biase is a Manager of Professional Services in Florida with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. She has more than 22 years of experience in the field of education, including teaching mathematics in grades 7-12, serving as a curriculum and assessment coordinator, focusing on the elementary grade levels, and providing professional development for 27 school districts in Western New York.
Candi has served as the Middle Level Representative for the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State, and a member of The New York State Education Department’s Mathematics Advisor Council. She has an in-depth understanding of the Common Core State Standards, assessments, and differentiated instruction and a passion for increasing conceptual understanding of mathematics. Candi’s education includes bachelor’s degrees in statistics as well as mathematics-secondary education, a master’s degree in curriculum and math education, and an advanced certificate in school district administration.
