What better time to teach students about money than the winter holiday season?

With stores around the country offering some of their biggest sales of the year, now is the perfect opportunity to apply the mathematics of buying, spending, and saving to the real world. Young children can practice adding and subtracting money, and students who are ready can dive into decimals and percents.
