Florida B.E.S.T. Readings
The Florida B.E.S.T. Readings and lessons provide opportunities to extend learning and develop engaged readers who build close reading strategies, analyze texts, and write to sources. Use the lessons to flexibly integrate these readings along with core instruction.
Vocabulary and language development
Teach academic vocabulary words, generative vocabulary, and vocabulary strategies each week to expand student knowledge of how words work.
